About me, long story short-

I’m a product of the sixties who loves music and enjoying life. I do both, with the help of my son who puts music in my heart (most days) and makes life fun (most of the time). He comes by it naturally; I think it’s the pizazz in the extra chromosome he was born with. Thirty plus years ago I not only became a mom for the first time, but I became a Down syndrome advocate as well. An unexpected plan for my life, but then I don’t think I’ve ever had a plan that didn’t have a kink in it. Those always seem to be the best ones.​

Fast forward thirty years and I've just fulfilled a dream by publishing my nonfiction, self-help, memoir. A book about this unplanned journey and the joy and growth that have come with it.

My hope? To support other parents who might be going through something similar to what I did after being shocked by the Universe that day. And if I manage to teach and inspire others along the way, even better!
