Easter is more than a celebration of an empty tomb—it’s a call to live full lives of love.

When Jesus was asked to name the greatest commandment, He didn’t hesitate:

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind... And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.” – Matthew 22:37-39

The cross and the resurrection weren’t just about salvation—they were about transformation. A risen Savior calls us to rise with Him—into a life marked not by comfort, but by compassion. Not just belief, but boldness.

This Easter, we’re reminded that love is not passive. It moves. It shows up. It serves.

So how can we love our neighbor today?

Here are 3 ways to put resurrection love into action:

  1. Start local. Check on a neighbor who lives alone. Offer help without waiting to be asked. Bring a meal. Share your time.

  2. Include radically. Notice who’s often left out—in schools, churches, or communities—and invite them in. Make room. Make eye contact. Make a difference.

  3. Speak up. Use your voice for those whose voices are often ignored. Advocate for fairness. Share a message of inclusion. Be brave in love.

Easter Reflection:

What would it look like if we all loved our neighbors with the urgency of resurrection morning?
What fear would die—and what hope would rise?
